ROCK & JAZZ MUSICIANS JOIN IN BENEFIT EVENT
 AT OLD CITY HALL AUGUST 7

 Old City Hall and Water Street Café on Water Street in Oswego is hosting a rock and jazz musical benefit event on Saturday August 7, 2010, from 1:00pm to 9:00pm. During the course of the day, event-goers will enjoy acoustic rock, folk, jazz and blues music from six different performers or bands.

 Some of the featured performers include the soulful jazz voice of Mary Horan accompanied by guitarist Dennis Kotter; the Americana sounds of The Milkweeds; piano jazz from the duet Clean Slate; funky original acoustic rock from Tony Button; and classic rock from 8Ballz.

 "Benefit for the Arts" is a fundraiser for the Oswego region's own Oswego Opera Theatre which has been locally producing opera and musical theatre events for 32 years. Donations will be accepted, but there will be no cover charge during the event hours. Old City Hall will be serving its regular bar and dinner menus.

 Adding to the fun will be a 50/50 raffle, and raffles for liquor, wine, beer and food baskets, including a Beer & Fruit Basket from C's Market. Again, there will be no cover charge.
